B.A. MILLER
B.A. Miller's concern with form and color is as much personal imaginings
as it is a reflection of natural shapes. “My work incorporates
texture, form, design and color. I work in cast paper because this
medium affords me the opportunity to explore many aspects of my
artistic vision. Each piece of work I create is a reflection of my
personal exploration of the medium.”
B.A. Miller creates unique artwork with a process called “Paper
Casting.” Each cast paper piece begins as a clay relief sculpture.
Colors are achieved by acrylic pigments, oil paints, metallic inks
and gold, copper, silver composition metal leaf. The finishing
touch is done with multiple layers of epoxy resin.
