From a hand sketched design and a chosen color palette, a basket is woven using hand dyed reeds as a starting material. Contemporary basket making skills such as split spoking, bi-spoking, twining, triple twining, tapestry weaving and spiraling are then applied. Additional design characteristics are added throughout the process using shape, open space, beads, wood, wire, and other materials to enhance the artistic feel of the finished piece.

From this unique combination of materials, color, shape and design, a woven art piece is created which will enhance any decor and make it come alive with the spirit of Sedona!
